Owen Wilson Comedy Set In Hudson Valley

The new comedy "Father Figures" has a Hudson Valley flavor.

A major section of the movie, starring Owen Wilson and Ed Helms is set in the City of Beacon. In the film, Wilson and Helms play twin brothers on a mission to find their father, who they believed to be dead. The movie, originally titled "Bastards," was released last Friday.

Their search brings them to Beacon, where one of their potential fathers, Ronald Hunt, played J.K. Simmons, lives. Unfortunately for the brothers, Hunt has a bit of a dark side to him and while in Beacon, hilarious hijinks ensue. The brothers also encounter the fictional Breakneck Ridge police and ambulance corps and pick up a hitchhiker, played by Kat Williams.

Despite the Beacon setting, most of the film was shot in Atlanta and Miami.
